Vic Analuwa Personal Training offers a number of services to meet individual needs.
Aspects of the following activities can be included in your training session to add variety and produce results: Boxing, Circuit training, Core Stability training, Yoga and Pilates. |
Sports Specific training - This form of training is designed to meet the sporting needs of an individual. The training is functional, in that it mimics movements related to a specific sport. This leads to stronger and controlled movements producing improved performance.
Pre/Post Natal Exercise - During pregnancy the body can go through a number of physical changes, which place extra demands on an individual. Training at this time focuses on reducing pregnancy discomforts such as back pain. Exercise during pregnancy helps with the adaptation to physical changes in pregnancy by increasing core and pelvic floor strength as well as maintaining energy levels. Following pregnancy, you can begin exercise after 6 weeks providing you have had a normal delivery. Caesarian births require a longer rest period, so training would not be advisable prior to 8-10 weeks following giving birth. In both situations it is best to consult your doctor. Training after giving birth aims to get you back to your pre-pregnancy shape if not better. Again core stability and strength are the main objectives.
Weight Management/Loss - The training sessions focusing on this goal are set out to achieve gradual weight loss in a safe and effective manner. Nutritional advice will also be given in order to get the best results.
Injury rehabilitation - This involves specific exercises designed to achieve full range of motion, strength and proprioception of an injured area. This will allow full function for everyday life and sporting activities to be achieved.
Sports Massage - Sports massage is offered to maintain the condition of muscles. It can also be used to aid the recovery from injury and/or post exercise soreness. Sports massage can lead to a reduction in injuries and an increase in performance. |
